Ways a teacher could keep track of the number of occurrences of a behavior:

-make tally marks on a piece of paper (on a clip board, an index card taped to pants leg,
            etc.)
-move buttons from one pocket to another
-move pennies from one container to another
-tie knots in a piece of string
-rip little pieces of paper off of a page and place them in your pocket
