Enter the library

Go to the card catalog (assuming no computer terminal system exists)

Pull out the drawer with the letters that correspond to the
    -title
    -subject
    -author

Find the card

Write down the code/call number

Go to the corresponding length of shelving

Locate the desired book

Go to the check out desk

Present the book and your library card to the librarian
